LOSS GUARD (BETA)
Stops you trading for the rest of the day once you hit your daily loss limit.

WHAT IT DOES
- It reads your balance from TradingView's Trading Panel.
- The starting rule: your max loss is $500, counted from your best point of
the day. Close a trade $425 or more below that best point, and TradingView
is blocked in your browser until the next session (6 PM New York time).
- While you're still IN a trade near the limit, it only warns you. It never
locks you out of an open trade.
- You can change the max loss, the warning zone and the "count from my best
point" setting in Loss Guard's settings.

INSTALL (about 2 minutes, one time)
Works in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome on a computer.

1. Unzip it. Right-click LossGuard-beta.zip, choose "Extract All", then
"Extract". You now have a folder called LossGuard.

2. Open your browser's extensions page. Click the address bar at the top,
type one of these and press Enter:
      Edge: edge://extensions
      Chrome: chrome://extensions

3. Turn on "Developer mode".
Edge: the switch at the bottom of the menu on the left
Chrome: the switch at the top right

4. Click "Load unpacked" and choose the LossGuard folder from step 1.

5. Loss Guard's settings open by themselves. Keep the $500 default, or
   change it and press Save.

TO CHANGE IT LATER (any time, even after a restart):
Click the puzzle piece at the top right of your browser, then Loss Guard,
then Settings. (A bigger limit starts next session.)

USING IT
- Open TradingView with your broker account connected.
- KEEP THE TRADING PANEL SHOWING at the bottom of the chart, with your
Account Balance in view - AT ALL TIMES. That is where Loss Guard reads your
balance. If it's hidden, Loss Guard can't protect you. The thin strip is
  enough.
- A small box at the top of the chart shows today's profit or loss. Drag it
anywhere you like; it stays there. Double-click it to put it back at the top.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Don't move or delete the LossGuard folder after installing. Your browser
  runs Loss Guard from it.
- To update: download the new zip and unzip it into the SAME place, replacing
the old files. Loss Guard notices within a minute and updates itself. It
waits if you're locked or in a trade.
- If your browser asks you to turn off "developer mode extensions", say no.
That would switch Loss Guard off.
- Paper trading? Click Loss Guard's button and turn on "Paper trading" first,
  so practice trades don't count.
- Sound is off - the alerts show on screen. Want a sound too? Tick "Sound" in
Loss Guard's settings and pick a volume (it starts very quiet).
- Everything stays on your computer. Loss Guard sends your numbers nowhere.
- This is a beta: a helper, not a guarantee. Your prop firm's own rules are
  what count.
