SESSION GUARD (BETA)
Locks TradingView outside the trading hours you choose.

WHAT IT DOES
- It starts with 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM New York time, Monday to Friday. You can
change the hours, the days and the time zone.
- Outside those hours, TradingView, Tradovate and TopstepX are blocked in
your browser until your next session.
- It never locks you out of an open trade. If your hours end while you're in
a trade, it warns you and stays open until you're flat, then locks.
- A heads-up bar shows on the chart before your hours end (10 minutes by
default). You can drag it anywhere on the screen.
- Shorter hours start straight away. Longer hours start at the next session,
so you can't talk yourself into an extra hour in the moment.

INSTALL (about 2 minutes, one time)
Works in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome on a computer.

1. Unzip it. Right-click SessionGuard-beta.zip, choose "Extract All", then
"Extract". You now have a folder called SessionGuard.

2. Open your browser's extensions page. Click the address bar at the top,
type one of these and press Enter:
      Edge: edge://extensions
      Chrome: chrome://extensions

3. Turn on "Developer mode".
Edge: the switch at the bottom of the menu on the left
Chrome: the switch at the top right

4. Click "Load unpacked" and choose the SessionGuard folder from step 1.

5. Session Guard's settings open by themselves. It works straight away with
9:30 AM - 12:30 PM New York time, Monday to Friday. If your hours are
different, change them and press "Save my hours". Your first save
   starts straight away.

CHANGING YOUR HOURS LATER
Click the puzzle piece at the top right of your browser, then Session Guard,
then Settings. Pick your hours and press "Save my hours".
(Shorter hours start now. Longer hours start at the next session.)

USING IT
- Open TradingView with your broker account connected.
- KEEP THE TRADING PANEL SHOWING at the bottom of the chart, with your
Account Balance in view - AT ALL TIMES. That's how Session Guard knows if
you're still in a trade when your hours end. If it's hidden, it can't tell,
and it locks. The thin strip is enough.
- Locked but still in a trade? The lock screen has a button that opens
TradingView for 45 seconds. If it sees your trade, it stays open until
  you're flat.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Don't move or delete the SessionGuard folder after installing. Your browser
  runs Session Guard from it.
- If your browser asks you to turn off "developer mode extensions", say no.
That would switch Session Guard off.
- It works alongside Loss Guard. Each one has its own lock.
- Everything stays on your computer. Session Guard sends nothing anywhere.
- This is a beta: a helper, not a guarantee. Your prop firm's own rules are
  what count.
